A special train is being run between Chennai Central and Visakhapatnam cities on Sunday in view of the festive rush.
The train will run via New Guntur Railway Station.
The train will depart at 2.45 p.m. from Chennai and will arrive at New Guntur railway station at 9.08 p.m. It will reach Visakhapatnam at 5 a.m. on January 19.
The train will have seven sleeper coaches, three 3 AC coaches and one 2 AC coach. The reservation of the train has already been enabled over passenger reservation system.
Addition of
3 AC coaches
The South Central Railway has also added another 3 AC coach in train 17255/17256 Hyderabad – Narsapur-Hyderabad Express during January 27-30, Train No. 17230 Hyderabad – Trivandrum Central Sabari Express during January 23-26 and Train No. 17229 Trivandrum Central – Hyderabad Sabari Express during January 25-28.
Chair car
An additional chair car is added to trains No-12747/12748 Guntur – Vikarabad – Guntur Palnadu express and Secunderabad – Guntur – Secunderabad Inter City express.
