International Conference on "English Studies and Women Empowerment" this year is going to be organised by Department of English, K L University, Vaddeswaram, Guntur, in Collaboration with International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation, India, on August 21 and 22, 2015. Under the subtheme of 'English Studies' related to literature, the research papers on applied linguistics; new trends in British and American literature; fourth world literature; literature and identity; 20th century Indian writing in English; and language study through literature will be presented.
On the other hand in the language area, the topics such as impact of globalisation on English; English and technology; technology in education; English teacher education; language skills development; teaching methodology; materials design and adaptation; and sustainable innovation in ELT will be covered.
In Focus Besides the issues related to translation and linguistics, the topics of women empowerment, psychology, sociology and social work will be discussed during the conference.
Proceedings of the conference will include all the accepted abstracts, while the full length papers which will be accepted after peer review could be published in English Studies International Research Journal, inform organizers.
