BENGALURU: Karnataka legislators it seems can rival even film stars when it comes to being in the news. A few days ago a BJP MLA was caught zooming in on Priyanka Gandhi’s picture in his mobile phone inside the Assembly earning the ire of Congress leaders. Now, it has emerged that Congress leader and Karnataka Housing minister Ambareesh and MLA SS Mallikarjun were watching a video on their mobile inside the Assembly roughly at the same time when the BJP MLA was zooming in on Priyanka’s photo. The proceeding of the House was on at the time.
The Karnataka Assembly that has already seen disruptions and chaos in the last few days over the ‘indecent’ acts of legislators and the use of mobile phones inside the House when the proceedings are on, is bound to see more rowdy scenes in the coming days. Use of mobile phones inside the Karnataka Assembly has been banned now.
