The Railways authorities have decided to extend train no. 17244 Rayagada-Vijayawada Express up to Guntur, with effect from Sept. 1.

Train no. 17243 Vijayawada-Rayagada Express will start from Guntur with effect from September 2, according to a statement issued by G. Suneel Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division.

Journey schedule
Train no.17244 will leave Rayagada station at 3.15 p.m. and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 7.55 p.m. and depart at 8.15 p.m to reach Vijayawada at 4.15 a.m. on the next day. It will start leave at 4.25 a.m. to reach Mangalagiri at 5.10 a.m., leave at 05.12 a.m. to reach Guntur at 5.55 a.m.
In the return journey, 17243 Guntur-Vijayawada-Rayagada Express will leave Guntur at 10.15 p.m. and reach Managalagiri at 10.42 p.m. and leave at 10.43 p.m. It will reach Vijayawada at 11.15 p.m. and leave at 11.30 p.m. to arrive in Visakhapatnam at 8.05 a.m. the next day and leave at 9.10 a.m. to reach Rayagada at 2.25 p.m.
There is no change in the existing composition or stoppages of the train.
