Small Plane Crashes into TV Tower- USA

LUBBOCK -- Lubbock first responders rushed to the 5600 block of avenue A Wednesday evening to reports of a plane crashing into a television tower.

Several neighboring businesses and residents have lost power. According to scanner traffic police are investigating an accident involving a small plane that clipped the television tower around 7:30 pm Wednesday.

The tower is property of KCBD. The crashed has been found on the ground. There is word one of injury in the plane but no reports of injuries on the ground. We have a crew on the scene and will bring us the latest details as they develop.
