The bogus baba, popularly known as "kissing baba", has been "treating" people suffering from ill health with his hugs and kisses for the last two months. The baba operated from a room behind Ayyappa temple in the town.

Shrieks of excitement went up in air even as a dense fog enveloped the Ring Road on Sunday morning. The presence of popular film stars and singers Ali, Nagur Babu and a host of actresses Nikitha, Madhavi Latha got the crowd on their feet.
