HYDERABAD: Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has been made the health ambassador of Andhra Pradesh.
Disclosing this at a media conference here on Tuesday, AP health minister Kamineni Srinivas announced that the state government has appointed Amitabh Bachchan as the brand ambassador for medical and health department.
‘’Bachchan has agreed to be our brand ambassador and offered his service free of cost. Which areas he will promote will be decided later,” the minister said.
He will take part in the campaigning programs to be launched by the state government for creating awareness among people about health, he said.
“Bachchan undertaking health campaign for the state government would definitely help in implementing health schemes and programmes in the state in a better manner,” he observed.
