Google India has launched two new Chromebooks in partnership with companies like Xolo and Nexian in India at a price of Rs 12,999. The Xolo Chromebook will be available in a few days via Snapdeal while the Nexian Air Chromebook is now available on Amazon India. Apart from these Chromebooks, Google also announced the Asus Chromebook Flip C201 and a model by Samsung, which will be available later this year.
In terms of specifications, the Xolo Chromebook sports a 11.6-inch TFT display which comes with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. The device is powered by a Rockchip 3288 SoC having a 1.8GHz quad-core Cortex A17 processor along with a quad-core ARM Mali 760 GPU paired with 2GB RAM. On the storage front, the Chromebook has a built in storage of 16GB but can be further expanded via SD card. The device will run on Google’s Chrome OS and includes two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a 1MP web camera and comes with Bluetooth 4.0. The laptop comes packed in with 4,200mAh battery and offers a backup of 10 hours, claims the company.
Nexian Air Chromebook
